Since all the right-winged conservative Bible thumpers believe marriage should be between a man and a woman, I came up with a compromise for the gay marriage debate and it is not a civil union.
Since homosexuals want to marry and the straights don't care that they ruined their definition of marriage, I propose that homosexuals marry their own kind --- a gay man marries a lesbian woman.
This should a be a win - win solution for everyone. Homosexuals can get married and their spouse will have health benefits etc. The straight community will not care since the "marriage is between a man and a woman". This kind of wedding happens all time already in the straight community. Straights don't marry out of love, they marry for health benefits, the tax benefits and so illegal immigrants can stay in this country.
So what do you think, any straight person in favor of this compromise? If so I will put it on the agenda at the next National meeting of the Gay and Lesbian Brotherhood.

I don't know, sounds like it would ruin the fun of pointing out how out of reality your barbra streisand is. Why don't we just approve polygamy then you could both marry the same lesbo and visa versa. See, Joseph Smith did know what he was talking about!

I guess the compromise is acceptable to the straight people on this board because I have not heard of any objections.
