I found an interesting ad on page 45 of the July/August 2004 issue of Working Mother.
In the ad:
What is PETA Teaching Your Child?
"Your Mommy Kills Animals!"
People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) often bypasses parents to spread destructive and violent propaganda to kids about food and fur. PETA reaches more than two million children each year at school and on the Internet. Find out more about PETA's extremist agenda at http://www.consumerfreedom.com/.
End of ad excerpt.
We all know about the humanity denying thought processes of PETA and others, such as vegans. I applaud anyone countering these foolish idiots. But does anyone know anything about ConsumerFreedom and their primary funding? Tongue in cheek I have mentioned cruelty to vegetables and boycotting eating, maybe I was closer to the truth than I thought. Hmmmmmmmmmm.

The only propaganda being spread is the idea that animals have no feelings and are put on the earth for us to kill or do what we please with. The violent part is what takes place in the slaughterhouses and the fur farms.

This particular group DOES have an extremist agenda, no matter where one falls in the political spectrum!
