Dems' Berger response from Clinton playbook?
Ex-House investigator slams party for distracting attention from crime

A former congressional investigator says the Democrats' response to the Sandy Berger documents scandal is vintage Clinton: Distract attention from the act by pointing fingers at those who exposed it.
David Bossie is the former chief investigator for the House Committee on Government Reform and Oversight and author of "Intelligence Failure: How Clinton's National Security Policy Set the Stage For 9/11."
He tells Agape Press Democrats are using their typical "playbook" in responding to the revelation that Berger took highly classified documents related to 9-11 from the National Archives.
"Sandy Berger seems to have admitted to committing felonies; that is no small matter," he said. "What he is then trying to do is to distract people from those felonies by blaming it on the timing."
Bossie says it is like blaming the incident on the people who revealed it, rather than Berger himself.
"It's right back to the Clinton playbook," he told the news service. "It's really a shame. They can't allow the American people to see them for what they are."
The author also criticizes Kerry for saying the timing of the revelation was meant to harm his presidential candidacy, rather than addressing the alleged crime. Bossie also is author of "The Many Faces of John Kerry: Why this Massachusetts Liberal is Wrong for America."
Agape Press points out the major media are covering the timing issue much more than Berger's wrongdoing, noting the Media Research Center says CBS anchorman Dan Rather claimed the incident "was triggered by a carefully orchestrated leak about Berger – and the timing of it appears to be no coincidence."
Said MRC's Tim Graham: "The problem with Rather's 'carefully orchestrated leak' language is that he has no idea of the leaker or their orchestration."
"The natural family is a man and woman bound in a lifelong covenant of marriage for the purposes of:
*the continuation of the human species,
*the rearing of children,
*the regulation of sexuality,
*the provision of mutual support and protection,
*the creation of an altruistic domestic economy, and
*the maintenance of bonds between the generations."

This is a repeat of what the dems did when the computer files were found to show that the dem party was blocking the appointment of that Judge...the one that just might make the affirmative action ruling come out differently.
It is their NORMAL way of functioning. Get caught...blame the person who caught them.
And on ratherbiased.com, mention was made that ol' leftie, Dan Rather, had made a similar 'leak' accusation before....and it turned out it was a democrat who had leaked the information he was 'hinting' at putting the blame on a Republican for. Got caught with egg all over his face. Nothing would thrill me more than for it to happen again.
Why would this have been kept under wraps in the first place? Should have been brought out in October. But then....we all know how that liberal press only lets the information it wants out to the people.
