I watched the Larry King interview with John Kerry's daughters last night. I found them to be very bright very classy young women. The more we learn about John Kerry and John Edwards along with their families the stronger they become as candidates.

By the way Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton told all of America what they thought of Bush's failed leadership both at home and abroad.

The Democrats will win in November by STAYING STRONG and telling America the TRUTH.

OUTSOURCE BUSH/CHENEY FOR A STRONGER BETTER AMERICA

Ah, let them be spoiled rich kids. There are so few kids today that have that privilege. Seriously, they do appear very intelligent, not that that makes any difference. How long before the right comes in here to bash Kerry's children? They've already taken pot shots at his wife.

They could be rich kids. I just hope they're nice kids. Even though they are not really kids at this point.

You either have it in your heart to give something or you dont. I hope they can give something to their father's campaign and the country if they are in that position to do so.

ebayauctionguy and Linda_K, looks like once again you guys have no idea what real class is. Being a classy person has nothing to do with money.
About me being at WAR with rich people your wrong. I am only at WAR against self serving GREEDY rich people that are out to destroy the middle and working class people for this great country. I am at WAR against people that have sold their souls for a few pieces of silver and always will be.

Linda_K just said I am at war against only the Republican rich by saying this quote, "only if they're Republican's." This time I agree with 95% of what Linda_K just said. 95% of the rich I am at WAR with are GREEDY, SELF SERVING REPUBLICANS THAT HAVE SOLD THEIR SOULS FOR A FEW PIECES OF SILVER. Like in all walks of life some people are CLASSY AND OTHERS ARE CLASSLESS and RUTHLESS. I am at WAR with the classless and ruthless no matter what party they belong to.

Now big guy you should better understand what I stand for. If you don't agree then you should do like Bill Clinton said Vote Republican.

I think she is as well. Unfortunately, she's not the one at the helm. I've never heard much about Bush's daughters, but then they really haven't got anything to do with what Bush does. I try hard to keep the wives and children separate from the man. It's hard at times, though.

Cheryl, I fully agree with you remember how the republican's treated Billy Carter and Bill Clinton's younger brother. Most adult members of both parties campaign for their husbands and fathers. I hope to hear Mrs. Cheneys views about some republican policies. Maybe she will speak at the republican convention.

Don't expect rich Dems to give to charities out of their own personal fortunes.

No, no, no....they take the income from those who've worked hard to earn it and then redistribute it to their special interest 'causes' - gets them voting for their party and demanding more, more more. They're VERY generous at handing out other peoples money.

These words are so very true and because Democrats beleive that it is their right to do this unabated it makes them and all that beleive this way to be inherently EVIL.

Conservatives on the otherhand want all the things for the people that the Liberals want to just give them, but by empowering the people to go out and earn it for themselves. I want healthcare but I want to work for it. I want a better quality of life but I want to work for it.

Liberals are like a bunch of bloodsucking Robinhoods redistributing wealth weather someone agrees or disagrees. It matters not to them what the people really want.

yellowstone - I agree....but to listen to the other side speak about it....we have absolutely no compassion. Not a drop. Which I see the Republican party more as you have stated.

-----------------

bigpeepa - Please explain to me why democrats appear to dislike the corporations so much. They are the major employers in the US. I've always wondered if you [collectively] would like to see them eliminated totally...and if so...what would all those people who work for them do for a living?

People like Nader have convinced me that the dems are becoming more attached to corporate America's financial support too. Not like the old dem party used to be....strickly for the workers. Now 'The New' dem party is chasing those corp $$ too.

And this week I read that one of the major unions is getting a little upset with kerry lately - some of his statements. So much so that they were suggesting they might break away from giving him their support.

Kerry Has Very strong Labor Support!

Kerry unites labor

BOSTON — Leaders of the nation's largest labor organization said Monday their member unions are united behind a single presidential candidate — Democrat John Kerry — for the first time since the 1960s.

As Democrats prepared to open their national convention here, AFL-CIO officials said unions started mobilizing six months earlier than in past campaigns to defeat President Bush. That unity is a switch from recent elections, including 2000 when some unions broke with the Democrats and endorsed George W. Bush.

Administration policies on everything from trade to overtime pay have created "tremendous anxiety" among union workers and persuaded them to come together behind Kerry, AFL-CIO leaders said.

"We have a level of engagement among union members we've never seen before," political director Karen Ackerman told USA TODAY and Gannett News Service reporters. The 13.5 million-member federation has enlisted 25,000 volunteers to contact 2.5 million union households by Labor Day, the traditional campaign kick-off date. (Related story:Interview excerpts)

While the dems have been working very hard to put on a 'united front' it's just not so. They're working to keep their 'screamers' [dean, kennedy & gore] a little more quieted down too.

But that ol' CBS who everyone knows has sided with the dems - reported this about yesterday's DNC convention:

Dissension at the Convention:

On Monday, Andrew Stern, president of the Service Employees International Union, said that organized labor and the Democratic Party might be better off in the long run if Sen. John Kerry loses the election.

This disclosure, during a Washington Post interview with David Broder, was a departure from the message of party unity that Democrats want to portray during their convention. Stern said the party and its longtime ally, the labor movement, are "in deep crisis."

The SEIU is the AFL-CIO's largest union and also its fastest growing. It represents health care and nursing home workers, state and local employees and janitors. Its 1.6 million members have a lot of influence in the AFL-CIO and Democratic politics.

Stern argued that Kerry's election would stifle reform within the party and the labor movement. However, Stern said he still believes that Kerry would make a better president than President Bush. He contends though that a Kerry presidency would have the effect of slowing the "evolution" of party dialogue.

The SEIU president's dissatisfaction with the AFL-CIO and the Democratic Party is not new, but his voiced frustration on the opening day of a carefully scripted convention may cause headaches for Kerry and his convention team.

Stern, an early supporter of Howard Dean, is one of the most outspoken of the union leaders that have talked about breaking away from the AFL-CIO. Stern recently hinted that there may be a need to form some kind of new workers movement.

AFL-CIO president John J. Sweeney responded that Stern's attitude "is not justified." He said, "I'm optimistic about the future of the Democratic Party."
