On monday, i went w/ my daughter and baby grandson to the Cleveland Clinic for something our little one needed checked out ...
while i was in the pediatric waiting room area, a mom with 4 little children came in, ages seemed to be around 3 yrs old (johnny), up to 7 yrs old (teresa) .. teresa was instructed by mom to play with toys, on the floor, with johnny ... they pulled a bunch of the rubbery foam interlocking building blocks out to play with ... teresa first made a house, then a garage, and little johhny started using a little toy car to 'drive around' and parked it in the garage ... while he was playing 'driving', teresa stacked up what was the rest of the blocks, and picked up a toy airplane and said, with all childlike innocence, "look mommy, look! ... here's a skyscraper, and look, look!; here's a plane flying into it!"
whoa ... her mom's face went 5 shades paler, and she didn't say a word (what could she say?), and all of us in the room just sort of looked at each other, thinkin' "wow ... what a {sad and scary} sign of the times"

Although crashing planes into buildings certainly has extreme significance nowadays, the idea isn't new.
I used to be big into video games. EVERY single time I would play MS Flight Simulator, I'd try to land on top of the WTC (Remember "Escape from New York", he did it in the movie). I probably crashed into it a hundred times just for fun.
Not to mention zooming over times square to try to see how low I could go without hitting anything. I was no kid at the time either.
Things certainly have changed. I heard on the latest revision of the game, you can no longer run into buildings. Political Correctness at its silliest.

This is an honest answer. I always sleep late. Today I woke up and the digital clock said 9:11. A grim reminder of a terrible day. I sure hope we never have to go through that again.
Now if your a non believer or whatever this is not directed at you so please don't get bent out of shape.
