Arnold wrote that just for you, Twelvepole and people like you who are looking forward to the fourth grade next year.

Seriously, is that all they have? There's nothing to respond to but blind bush worship Hell, your friends, linda and bear bring up more issues with their cut and pastes.

"I'm Hans..."
"I'm Franz..."
"And we're here to PUMP-
You UP!!"

I didn't see it, but it seems pretty silly for Governor Schwarzenegger to use that phrase.

Unless it is being used out of context....

In Christ,
Rick

John 1:1

"I am trying here to prevent anyone saying the really foolish thing that people often say about Him: "I'm ready to accept Jesus as a great moral teacher, but I do not accept His claim to be God." That is one thing we must not say. A man who was merely a man and said the sort of things Jesus said would not be a great moral teacher. He would either be a lunatic....or else he would be the devil of Hell. You must make your choice. Either this man was, and is, the Son of God: or else a madman or something worse. You can shut Him up for a fool, you can spit at Him and kill Him as a demon; or you can fall at His feet and call Him Lord and God. But let us not come with any patronizing nonsense about His being a great human teacher. He has not left that open to us. He did not intend to."

CC - we are referring to someone that ran on a platform of balancing the budget and increasing public safety and then made his act as govenor one of removing hundreds of millions from the coffers the police and fire departments thruout the state. He specializes in illogical and silly.

If it's really "common" sense, why do so few people actually have it?

Bush answer for jobs problem...Pop a Prozac.

Why don’t they get new jobs if they’re unhappy — or go on Prozac?” said Susan Sheybani, an assistant to Bush campaign spokesman Terry Holt.

The comment was apparently directed to a colleague who was transferring a phone call from a reporter asking about job quality, and who overheard the remark.

Just teasing you, twelvepole. Arnold's speech was effective for his targeted audience.

ChristianCoffee - I put the link to Arnold's speech in another thread....but here it is. I know he and President Bush don't share the same opinions on our cultural issues....but they're in agreement on many important ones. I thought he did a MARVELOUS job of energizing the Republican's last night.
VERY positive speech...and focused on what's right about America....not all the negativity from the left on what's wrong.

I took his 'girlie men' statement as a slap at [or spitting in the face of] the liberal media who made SUCH a big deal about him using that terminology before.

I like a man or a woman who isn't so weak in character that they let the pessimists rule their behavior as they tried to do when he first used that term.

Me too. Sort of like when Theresa said "Shove it".
