Looks as though the president has been covering up some of his not so honorable past. It's about time he's called on the carpet and tells us why he never mentioned his suspension. Don't you think he should have come clean on this?

So, let's see...

Bush the DUI

Bush the coke head in college

Bush the coke head at Camp David

Bush the liar about his military duty

Bush that can't successfully run any corporation or government in the black.

Bush that can't win a war

Bush that can't tell the truth

Sounds like this guy isn't fit to coach a little league baseball team, let alone lead our country. I know I wouldn't trust a coke head around my kids and money, so why should the rest of the country.

I'm willing to bet you've entrusted a good portion of your savings to "coke heads" though. I wonder how many of the CEOs and such in businesses included in your investments enjoyed more than a bump or two during the go-go 80's.

There are so man reasons to be against Bush - why settle on the sophmoric?

Sharon Bush Denies Kitty Kelley Account

By Howard Kurtz
Washington Post Staff Writer
Thursday, September 9, 2004; Page C01

President Bush's former sister-in-law denied yesterday that she had given author Kitty Kelley any information about allegations of past drug use by Bush.

Sharon Bush is quoted in Kelley's forthcoming book about the Bush family as making one of the allegations, and Kelley's editor said in an interview Tuesday that she had provided "confirmation" for the information.

But Sharon Bush, who is divorced from the president's brother Neil, said in a statement: "I categorically deny that I ever told Kitty Kelley that George W. Bush used cocaine at Camp David or that I ever saw him use cocaine at Camp David. When Kitty Kelley raised drug use at Camp David, I responded by saying something along the lines of, 'Who would say such a thing?'

"Although there have been tensions between me and various members of the Bush family, I cannot allow this falsehood to go unchallenged."

Doubleday, Kelley's publisher, was quick to dispute her account.

"Doubleday stands fully behind the accuracy of Ms. Kelley's reporting and believes that everything she attributes to Sharon Bush in her book is an accurate account of their discussions," said Associate Publisher Suzanne Herz. "Ms. Kelley met with Sharon Bush over the course of a four-hour lunch on April 1, 2003, at the Chelsea Bistro in Manhattan."

The next day, Herz said, Kelley had a 90-minute phone conversation with Bush in the presence of Peter Gethers, her Doubleday editor. Gethers confirmed the accuracy of the statement yesterday.

Kelley "has notes to corroborate both these conversations," Herz said, and Bush "understood that anything she said could be used for publication."

The conflicting accounts will undoubtedly become fodder in the emerging debate over "The Family: The Real Story of the Bush Dynasty." White House and Republican Party spokesmen have denounced the book as "garbage" and "fiction." Publication day is set for Monday, when Kelley will begin three days of "Today" show interviews, but some of the allegations have already leaked to a British newspaper.

Sharon Bush's attorney, David Berg, said from Texas yesterday that his client had never given Kelley a formal interview. He said the two women spoke when Bush, who was in financial difficulty during the divorce, asked Kelley to put her in touch with a speakers' bureau, though in the end Bush never made any speeches.

"She talked to Kitty Kelley and there was an agreement that she would not be quoted or used as a source," Berg said. "This was totally off the record." Bush was "surprised and shocked" when Kelley raised the drug question, he said.

"She did tell Kitty Kelley that she felt the Bush family was being hypocritical about the so-called family values issue" in light of the way she was treated in the divorce, Berg said. "She regrets ever having spoken to her. This is really below the belt." Berg said yesterday Sharon Bush would not agree to be interviewed about the dispute.

Doubleday referred a reporter to Lou Colasuonno, a former tabloid editor who was then providing public relations advice to Sharon Bush and arranged last year's lunch with Kelley. Asked about the disputed quote on drug use, he said: "From what I've seen reported in the media, and having not seen the book, I would not describe it as inaccurate."

Colasuonno said he did not recall Bush saying anything about the meeting being off the record. He also did not recall Kelley taking extensive notes, but said she had her pen and pad out at some point, perhaps when the women exchanged phone numbers.

Berg said that no one had asked his client to issue her denial. "Sharon is estranged from the Bush family," he said.

The controversy doesn't appear to have hurt Doubleday: Advance sales of "The Family" made the book No. 6 yesterday on Amazon.com.

Kitty Kelly's writing is worse than the National Inquirer. Katie Curic has brought herself down to a level that is unbelieveable.

Libra - Katie has been among the most annoying people in entertainment for quite awhile. Are you saying that you one held a level of respect for the absolute worst inerviewer in the industry? remember me mentioning that I yell at the TV fairly regularly? At least 60% of the time it happens between 7 and 10 am as and consists of variations of "Shut Up You Useless Egotistical Gidget Wannabe!"

I've never seen an interviewer that completly ignores the interviewee before Katie. Apparently shethinks that viewers are more interest in what she thinks the answer to her question is or should be. No sooner does she ask someone a question than she proceeds to answer it as well... then boom, times up... time to go to commericial. If I ever became famous and was to be interviewed by her I would just send a cardboard cut out. Same interview and less chance of criminal charges since I would not have to fight the urge to just reach out and strangle her annoying "Flying Nun meets Jackie Onasis" self.

OK - back on topic... sorry guys - you just don't understand the depth of my hatred of that woman.

Fenix I don't get up early enough to watch her. I did pay attention when her husband was alive as I enjoyed listening to him, as he was on CNN in the evening. But after he died I didn't pay much attention to her until the olympic games and then only saw her a few times. But, I would think that any newsperson would never believe Kitty Kelley and then to interview her for 3 days, seems a little much.

I didn't mean to bring her up sorry

I'll tell you what we have at our house a piece of foam that looks like a brick. Of course it is only used during Green Bay Games.

dadofsicktoy -

"Bush that can't win a war

I would call that misappropriation of the military. Another perfect reason why Bush is unfit to run this country. You want to believe this war has ended, but our troops and innocent Iraqi civilians keep dying. I can't help but remember Bush saying, "Bring it On". Well, that small band of resistence is doing just that. What a surprise. Bush can say, "bring it on" now that he hides behind the walls of the Whitehouse. He couldn't say, "Bring it On" when he hid in the ANG though. He wasn't willing to put his life on the line, but instead, he can put the lives of our sons and daughters in harms way so that he can be Machismo in front the world. You want to bash Kerry about his military record, go ahead. He put himself in harms way, even if it was only for 4 months, he could have easily been shot and killed in Vietnam, at least he chose to go there.

"We have Troops everywhere around the world have since the 40's Iraq is no different.
If they wanted us to leave all they need to to is settle their Asses down and act like People!"

I suppose those US servicemen and women were acting like people when they were torturing prisoners at what Bush likes to call, "Abu Garifffffffff" prison.

dadofsicktoy- you're statements are so backwards you should seek professional help.

Fenix..lol.. you remind me of my husband. Many times from outside the other room, I'll hear him boaring: "Arrgh, Shut-up!!-you are full of crap" -- And of course, he is talking back to the TV.

Sometimes he even says,"Alright Good Night, Tom!" to Tom Brokaw at the end of a newscast or whoever! LOL!!!
