I think he gets it because he is in the middle, neither a democrat or republican. He can see things that people that are too polarized cannot. He also talks about it in a very humorous manner which I enjoy.

I think he 'gets it' too, but he does have his moments where he seems very obstinate on certain issues or his POV, [which I think almost anybody would giving as much thought to political issues on a daily basis as he does. But then he injects some humor and none of it seems so serious after awhile, too.]
Something occured to me after reading Helen's posted article about 'truth' and politics. First I will emphatically say, I really dont give a ratz azz what sexual preference one lives their lives being - as it does not effect me one iota, but, if anybody talks about truth -- why does no one mention that biologically, homosexuality is incorrect and therefore untrue? I mean, you know...that hole was designed physically, biologically, for bodily waste, not for input. - Scientist's and doctors have figured out that much, right???
If the above sounds crude to some, I'm sorry, but isnt that going against truth in nature of the human design, then??
I dont get how some liberals want to make homosexuality a political issue, and then talk about knowing 'what real truth' is in the same vein.

No one mentions it because your proposition lacks any basis in reality. Biologically ? Do you know anything about biology ? "All" of the "holes" involved in the varied sexual practices have multi-purposes. Are you claiming that no bodily wastes exit the vagina or the penis ? And do you really believe that only homosexuals practice anal sex ? Your "natural law" position was disgarded centuries ago.

Nero - obviously it does serve another purpose. The fact that you do not approve of it does not make it any less the case. There are people that garner sexual gratification via anal sex and stating so does not make someone a liar.

I got back last night just in time to catch Bill Maher. I think he's brilliant at times.

It is Bush's mess. In a way, I want to say, you know what, let's let Bush win this election, because he's never had to clean up one mess he ever made in this is life. Let him clean up this mess. Because it's sort of unfair that he leaves another -- another mess, just like he did with the baseball team and oil company and everything else. And somebody else is going to come along and fix it for him.

yeah, and so what Logans? There is a reason for that - go ask any medical student about body temperature. But what is that in comparison to the race of human beings having sexual intercourse? You know if you want to deviate from the natural - go right ahead. I wont judge you as a person on it, but I think its a bit much to ask people to sanction it in bona-fide Law such as marriage.
btw, did you ever have to take one of those tests where you have to put the correct shape in the correct hole? - What is the result/meaning of the test if you dont figure it out?

There are many things that we have taken and put a new design or spin on. Ornamental earrings has NOTHING to do in relation to sex or homosexuality! My whole point was if you seek truth, see that truth is always algined correctly in its forms with nature. If you dont want to see that, and design yourself differently - fine, but then dont pretend you're not intentionally denying some very base facts here, because you are. Have it for what it is; but dont say everybody else has to be blind to it. It is not natural for two men or two women to cojoin.
