It has been over three years now since 9-11. We have lost over 1,000 American lives, and have about 6,500 injured, many with legs and arms missing. There have never been any WOMD found and I don't know if we, the US, are still looking. Countless millions and millions of dollars spent on a searching for one elusive person.

Will OBL ever be caught?

I am glad Bush has had as much trouble as Clinton did. I guess Osama is not so easy to catch after all.

Perhaps all the rightiesout there will invite him to a tea-party so he can turn himself in.

What difference would it make if he was captured? What difference did it make when Saddam was captured?

yeager and logansdad - You both could really learn a lot and become much more informed than you are by reading the DoD website. Then you won't continue sprewing these falsehoods that you do on a regular basis.

Our military hasn't given up looking for binladen. No matter what you say.

And binladen was offered to clinton on a silver platter, twice, and he wouldn't take him. binladen's been hiding out with the help of all his supporters so he's not as easily seen as he was while being captured on film, over and over, during the clinton administration days. He kind of got the message THIS President was coming after him for his deeds [9-11] and so now he's hiding.

I seriously doubt binladen's calling America a 'paper tiger' like he did during the clinton administration - now that this President has shown him that he doesn't react to attacks against us like the democrats do.

And I agree with KD. Finding binladen would be great. But it's not necessary and wouldn't change much. As anyone can see there are others that have stepped into his place and there always will be. That's why this 'war' isn't going to over in any short order - no matter who is elected.

But I'd rather have a President in office who is willing to defend this nation rather than one who'd sell it out in a moment like he did after his 4 month VN stent.

Please put the bottle away and try to stop making false statements about me. Here is what I said.

It has been over three years now since 9-11. TRUE

We have lost over 1,000 American lives, and have about 6,500 injured, many with legs and arms missing. TRUE

There have never been any WOMD found and I don't know if we, the US, are still looking. TRUE

Countless millions and millions of dollars spent on a searching for one elusive person. TRUE

So Linda, what falsehoods am I spewing?

How do you know osama bin laden is alive? How come there are no more osama videos? Why hasn't there been any attacks on US soil since 9/11? How come they are not even hitting easy targets in other countries?

They lost Afghanistan and Libya. Nuclear armed Pakistan is now an ally. Saudi Arabia is finally getting serious. Al Qaida is throwing everything they got in Iraq and they are still going to lose Iraq. Success in Iraq may cause Iran to fall without us firing a shot. There's no doubt Bush has been whipping their asses.

No you just proved how the "war on terrorism" can not be won. There will always be some radical group out there willing to step into Osama's shoes and attack another country.

Yeager, Again I'm not your honey nor do I drink. But how common of you to start with the false personal accusations because you'
re not capable of discussing an issue without doing so.

You appear confused. First you start out asking about binladen....then mix it together with the Iraq war. Two separate wars yeager.

[i]It has been over three years now since 9-11. We have lost over 1,000 American lives, and have about 6,500 injured, many with legs and arms missing. There have never been any WOMD found

VERY INCORRECT....just not large quanitites.

and I don't know if we, the US, are still looking.

Reading the DoD site will keep you more informed....as I said - there you can read some of what our troops are doing.

Countless millions and millions of dollars spent on a searching for one elusive person.

Again incorrect. Where's your proof of this millions and millions being spent ONLY on finding binladen? We were fighting with all the AQ in Afghanistan....as we are now in Iraq. We have [with the help of others] arrested or killed about 3/4 of the know AQ terrorists that are believed to have been involved in 9-11. To say all that money was spent only to find binladen is absolutely nuts. Because it wasn't ONLY him we were after.

Boy...what a defeatist attitude you have. You democrats sure give up fast and easy. Now we should surrender to terrorism...not fight the war on terror? Unbelievable to me that you'd give up so quickly....to start thinking it can't be won. But I guess since you've been one who stated you wouldn't fight for your country....that pretty much explains why you'd like to see us 'give this up - it can't be won' - might as well save all that money and just stay home and wait for them to attack us again huh?

This war can and will be won. And we have a President who's willing to do something about it. Look at Putin now....after what the terrorists did at the school in Russia. He's not going to sit back and say we're not going to fight because we can never win. He's now going to put more efforts into bring the terrorists down. As will other countries once they're blessed with the terrorists kind-heartedness towards human life in their countries.

They will hunt these groups down...they will work together as an Internationally committed group to learn where their funding is coming from and to eliminate it...to find out where they're stationed...just like President Bush did here and they'll then take action.

President Bush also told us this was going to take years. He never promised a rose garden and he never said the problem would be solved in a quick manner.

This is our new reality....you'd better get used to it....because no matter who our president is....the threat of terrorist attacks ARE our new reality.

Wasn't it your boy Regan that said we will win the war on drugs. Have we won that war Linda? We have been fighting that war for 20+ years.

Believe your village idiot. Even he said we could not win the war on terror before he had to correct himself. I think that was real opinion on the war and it accidentally came out. He knows it was a big mistake now to go into Iraq. HE WILL NEVER PUBLICLY ADMIT TO IT.

You republicans are so easily blinded by your faith in a looser.

I just saw on the news that C. Powell said he seriously doubts we will ever find any WMDs. I remember in early 2001, Powell and Rice both said that Hussein was contained, and that he has NO capabilities of creating WMDs or has any WMDs because the US of A destroyed them. Right after 9/11, that story changed for the sake of stroking GW's ego and getting the rest of the morons who believe him (Linda K for one) to support his great lie. Now we are back to where we started.

Yes, we are now back where we started. plus we have 1,000 + Americans dead. Over 6,000 injured. Millions of dollars wasted on an idea. And loss of world respect.

In case there are people here that don't understand the concept of loosing world respect. We are now seen as a bully nation with no real allies. Some may say England, but the people of that country would say otherwise.

Do you know why Powell threw his lot in with liars and cheats like Bush and Cheney ?

To get his children jobs in high government offices. Does anybody really think Powell's son was qualified to chair the FCC ? He has screwed it up royally.

Powell made a deal with the devil and now he suffers the consequences.

You mean Osama bin Forgotten?

You mean the guy who was REALLY behind 9/11?

Now why would bush want to draw attention to such a close personal family friend? He just might piss off the Saudi royal family, THAT'S WHY.

They are uptight and close PERSONAL friends of the bush's.....why do you think we went to war ON Iraq and not Saudi Arabia?

DUH!

HOWEVER, I think they may just HAVE him and his "capture" will be the "October surprise"!

But remember what DICK Cheney said, " you better vote for bush or there will be a terrorist attack!"

Isn't it against the law to make terroristic threats like that????????????
