Well, Maggie, it could be but I thought the Republicans preferred a surprise with bloodshed...you know how they love that.
The Democrats should simultaneously broadcast in some way horrible accusations against the bush crowd, doesn't matter if it's true or not(adopting the enemies style helps) and that would divert attention from the garbage in that film.

You're a day late and a dollar short, ms. maggie.
Before you even posted this the FCC has already ruled they CAN show it.
How you kerry supporters think this is any different than M. Moore's twisted, supposed documentary is beyond me. Only difference is this one is FACTUAL....as moore's wasn't.

Ok, before I fall over dead from reading about flu vaccine I thought i'd answer a stupid post.
linda says, "You're a day late and a dollar short, ms. maggie.

OK, First, Sinclair's little number is an AD. NOT a documentary.
Second, TV stations didn't interrupt regular programming and FORCE stations to air Moore's movie. People chose to go to a theater and pay to see it.
Second, it has not been determined if they are breaking a law but may have broken campaign laws.
Third, the Sinclair Slander has been shot to pieces by non-partisan people who believe in the truth.
Moore's movie had actual video footage and documents and interviews with actual people. Now these people could've lied like the people undoubtbly will in the Sinclair Slander but the video footage, like the one where geo and jeb(bubba) are smirking before the election bragging about how Florida is a sure thing, was NOT doctored, actors were NOT playing the Clampett(bush) brothers.
Yes, there were parts that were slanted, why not!? Moore was trying to press home a point. But the theme of the corruption of the bush administration was factual.
I'm sure neonazicons like linda will believe every word of the Sinclair Slander because they're so anxious to hate but that doesn't mean it's true. Maybe they can then explain why they think that crap is true but Moore's movie isn't.
I still think the sheer nastiness of it will backfire right in their slobbering righty faces.

If Bush is so eager to send men and women to die in Iraq for a Potemkin Village democracy, why is he vigorously allowing his party to stomp on democracy at home by essentially rigging the election?
Yes, thousands of people die for democracy and liberty and freedom abroad, including Americans, while Americans are being denied their rights as citizens of a democracy in an organized campaign by the Republican National Politburo.
That's some hypocrisy. America gets a one-party state through illegal shenanigans while we allegedly export democracy. It's a tragic farce -- and the American dream is its victim

After Stock Losses and advertiser deflections, Sinclair Retreats on Kerry Film
NEW YORK — Facing advertiser defections, a viewer boycott and a plummeting stock price, as well as strong opposition from Democrats, Sinclair Broadcast Group Inc. scrapped its plan to air a film that attacks the 1970s-era antiwar activities of Sen. John F. Kerry, and will instead run a special produced by its news division incorporating parts of the movie.
The decision not to run all of "Stolen Honor: Wounds That Never Heal" came after several shareholder complaints against the company were announced Tuesday, sending Sinclair shares down 3.5% after a nearly 8% slide Monday

Thanks for the update, Helen. It's good news.
But I wonder what that "special" they're producing will be like? Equally slanderous?
And right before the election. What dogs!
