Did you put any up outside? What kind do you like best - the LED's, the mini-lites or the regular kind? What colour? What about inside?

Hey its white lights or none at all! We put them in our windows and thats it.
Wreaths on the door and garlands here and there, but no colored light for us, grew up with em and now don't like em anymore.....
Truthfully its Christmas and we just love to see any decorations anywhere colored lights or white they all have good meanings. Merry Christmas. Its the reason for the season.....

I use flood lights to light the front of the house with a few lawn decorations, simple but elegant.
Absolute faith has been shown, consistently, to breed intolerance. And intolerance, history teaches us, again and again, begets violence.

I love old stuff. For the last few months I have been buying c6 lights on ebay. They first came out in about 1930, and were produced until about 1965. They were most popular in the 30's and 40's. This year I have a very cool looking 1940's sytle tree. It is so cool. The only problem with these lights is that when one burns out, the rest of the set goes out too.
They most often have only eight lights to a set, and you have to test each bulb to find the burnt out bulb. A pain, but a cool tree. I will try to get a pic to show.

Yeager, I'd love to see a picture of your tree! I remember those lights. My grandmother had a bunch with little wooden beads on them so you could tighten the string on each branch. I bet your tree looks wonderful!
P.S. Yeager, did you guys get a ton of snow dumped on you last night? There's probably 3 feet in my driveway and on the porch. I'm trying to figure out how to get out of the house so I can get to the shovel.
