Did SWMBO's iPod arrive in time? How does she like it and how in the world are you wrestling away computer time from her?
I know I had no idea how disorganized my music files were until I started preping them to upload. I spent most of the day yesterday working with them. What a mess!!

It came in plenty of time. We've got 4 computers here so it's not really an issue. She's in heaven, music is really important to her..She's been sorting through her disks and copying them to iTunes ever since. I did have to make her a separate log in account on a computer so she'd have a nice fresh copy of iTunes to work from. Good thing that box has two 120 gig drives in it, she has a huge collection. This has the added benefit of getting her more comfortable with the computer. She's always been scared of them... wouldn't even check her email unless we teased her about it.

so far she's sticking with the iTunes Music Store..I banned file sharing around here some time ago. The girls used to DL stuff from LimeWire on my one Win-doze box, and they screwed it all up. It runs Linux now, so they can't figure out how to use it
