LoL Maggie! I saw something similar posted here. Aren't our minds cool? Don't let Prof see this though. Teacher's always flip out over incorrect spelling.

I've seen that one before. It's interesting. I don't know whether "teachers always flip out over incorrect spelling" or not. I do know that there's very little reason for a writer ( and we're all writers here, no?) to allow misspellings.
Of course everybody makes the occasional typing mistake once in a while, big deal, but correcting common spelling errors is easy, especially when using a computer.
Failing to check spelling, I think, shows a laziness of mind and a lack of respect for the writer's intended audience.
