So, Libra, what was your take on the guy? How did he come across to you? Was he joyful that his wife has been given a new 'chance'? Did anything he said surprise you?

Well no. I just can't understand a man who lost 4 children to this women can forgive her even if she has a mental condition. Is it because he thought it might happen? Was he happy it happened? Could have he prevented it, probably but I can't say for sure. He is now getting a divorce.
Many women have PP condition and don't do that to their kids. Marie Osmond had this with her last child but she realized it and left the home for awhile.
I honestly don't think anything will change for her as I can't see a jury freeing her because of the psychiatrist and his phony Law and Order story.

I agree her husband had to have seen something was very wrong with his wife. That's what I was curious about...whether or not in hindsight, he mentioned he would have done something differently than he did.
And I'd read after her conviction that he had filed for divorce. Wasn't surprised....she was expected to spend the rest of her days in that mental facility.

Doesn't something just seem off with him? I can't pinpoint it. He's articulate, well mannered and all that but he acts the same way today as he did in the days following this tragedy. I know there's no blueprint for behavior, but his seems odd to me.
Linda, I heard he wasn't home that much because of his job. (??)

both Yates and the other mother who killed her kids with rocks,said they heard voices urging them to do it??
well,I recently talked to a vietnam vet who tried to wean himself from ant-psychotic drug,he said he kept hearing voice saying not nice things,so ?
I know Yates was on some medication,dont know about the other.
Her mother in law came almost every day to help her,does any one ever notice anything wrong??
