Paypal charges.

What's the big deal?

Your costs go up so you raise your prices and the bidders can just BITE IT!

Yeah so you trying saying that up there, and see how many flames get thrown at you, and how many times you get 'quoted'....

I need a sig line that says I do not work for any 3rd party payment service, eBay, AND I don't belong to fan clubs, except Art Bells

I keep wondering how long it will take for the people crying about to many PayPal threads to catch on that every one of their posts just adds to the length of the paypal threads.

DUH!!

lotsafuzz,

LOL!

Are those fires out in the west, yet? Think we can borrow some of their firefighters to start a backfire around the PayPal threads?

Yup, I just logged on to Paypal to send a payment and check my incoming and got that rather annoying schpeel about upgrading... I just backed out and went to login from 'send money', lol... will read the crappola later when I'm in the mood... humph!

Question tho: are they going to cut sellers off who don't upgrade?

You have to go visit the paypal demon for your answer, cat.

His name is Damon.....

kiheicat- I think the deal is until Oct 1. then you can only take auction payments under the Premier or Business Account. Now, I think you can on the personal account.

Well I'm gonna sleep on this one and investigate further tomorrow. It LOOKS like, though, that it is not a FORCEFUL upgrade, though it surely seems so...that you can still use the Personal Account to take auction payments... my guess is that they will send out frequent, maybe daily 'houndings' and other pestery things without actually forcing. Sigh

I have been all over these threads...in EO, in Partners...everywhere. On October 1st, from what I read, they WILL charge for using paypal as you business. What constitutes a business? Selling something on ebay. Not going into it here. Read the threads (to those of you still not sure). My decision was to dump them. I sold on ebay for 2 years without paypal and did fine. I can do it again.
