This is a chance to have a chuckle at my expense.
Here is the scenario.
I list a lot of items here in Australia on an Australian website. The site doesn't have all the bells and whistles of eBay but as a site it usually works.
This week they announced some major upgrades.
Last night I went to re-list three auctions which should only take a minute or two.
Once I had done I looked at my updated sellers list!
Their new super whiz-bang programme had just re-listed my last 954 closed auctions!!!
Not only that the site had automatically billed my credit card with all the original costs plus re-listing fees!!!!!
I finally managed to contact a real person at the site and they said that they would cancel all the re-lists, which they did. Unfortunately they also cancelled all my live auctions and lost them all, including live bids.
'Aint life exciting!!
And you reckon you have problems with eBay?
thanks for letting me get that off my chest.

Hi Bob,
Does this site start with an "S"? I haven't listed there for a while but have noticed MAJOR changes since last week. Can't even access my account balance and when I asked why they said no-one will be able to and they are recrediting everyone's cc's!
It's now a nightmare to find your way around the site

Hi pharlap,
You've got it in one! It starts with S.
The next three letteres spell old.
They should change them to hit!

Bob, Downunder but never down.

Thought as much. Was thinking of using them to list a few things this weekend - I don't think so!
Also, I couldn't help noticing your last name in the e-mail you sent me the other day. Please tell me you're not 'that' Bob?

pharlap,
LOL. $10,000 in a plain brown envelope gets a safe seat.
$20,000 gets you on the cabinet!!!!

Bob, Downunder but never down.
