Apologies to Spaz, another boring thread.

I don't watch the Olympics, was never a sports fan, so turned on what I thought would be the Raymond and Becker shows. (Yea, I like 'em, laugh if you must).

I was sooooo ticked off when I found, not my simple little shows, but that idiotic Survivor show being rerun. I absolutely hated that show, hated the premise, hated the greed, hated everything about the show and never watched a single episode. I have to admit I did watch for about 15 minutes once and was bored to tears.

Will this thing never go away? Enough already! What's the point of re-running these shows when everyone already knows who won the million dollars?

Edited cause Raymond has a y in it.

jada...I only watched one episode late in the season and hated it myself. I still can't understand how anyone finds eating rats and turning into one yourself being very entertaining.

I have a friend who sent in a video for a shot on the next series, but she hasn't heard back. Although I think she would do really well, I'm secretly hoping she won't make it. I'd hate to have to watch it just so I could see her on it.

Whew!!!

I was beginning to think I was the only one who wasn't watching Survivor.

Of course, one would have to be brain-dead not to know about it.

That CBS is stretching out this program just confirms, for me, the lack of creativity on that network. IMHO

Hi Njrazd and Femme - Thanks for responding, now I don't feel so alone.

Njrazd - If your friend gets a spot, I will have to break my own rules and watch. After all, it'll be sort of knowing a celebrity, (from far, far away).

Does this mean I can talk about Kristi Yamagucci some more...

You would have to read kiheicat's Celebrity Survivor thread to know what I'm talking about...

Count Me In Too! Didn't Watch and Won't Watch! The premise that you had to cut everyone down to make $$$$ was to much for me.

What has happened to TV? Where are the good old shows like . . .well, like. .no..Well I'll get back to you!

Tex

Hi Barry and Texas1958, good to see both of you.

Barry - yep, you can talk about anything ya want far as I'm concerned. I'm just impressed with your ability to spell her name.

Texas1958 - One of my favorites was always the Red Skeleton show, although it was quite tame (and probably boring) by today's standards.

jada,

I'm going to tell you a little secret. Please don't tell anyone, let's keep it among ourselves...

When the list of Celebrity Survivors was posted the name Yamagucci was misspelled and I have been going with the flow. It is actually Yamaguchi.

Thanks for your help with the little secret...

Barry (either way, we look marvelous in my sarong......) Barris

Hi Blondie, nice to see you.

Having never seen it, I think you're one of the lucky ones.

Never watched Survivor or Big Brother, what ever the heck that is.

I do however love to watch old reruns of Bewitched and Brady Bunch. Don't ask me why, there is no explanation for it.

JADA --- Yea, I would put Freddy The Freeloader up against the so called "Survivors" anyday!!!

And My Mother said that the Grape Dinosour is no worse than "It's Howdy Doody Time, It Howdy Doody Time . ." but I just don't remember it like that.

And How about the Lone Ranger and His Side Kick Tonto!

Oh Oh what was that one called where the guy always went deep sea diving. Sea Hunt? or something like that?

Then there was Perry Mason that lawyer/crime solver who could get the job done in a "hour"!

Mannix-- now he was good!

Too old well I do recall spenting Friday in front of the telly watch "DALLAS" just waiting for J.R. to get his just desserts but that may just be a Texas thing.

These days I if turn the TV on I usually take a nap, but that may just be an old thing I don't know!

Texas1958 ROFLMAO!

I wish I'd read this thread last night - it would have put me in a much better mood!

I thought I was the only one who detested the whole Survivor - Brother kind of shows. Nice to see I'm not alone. I saw about ten minutes of the brother show and threw up. Well, not literally - but, it was nauseating.

My favorite oldies include Dick Van Dyke, Andy Griffith and I Love Lucy - in that order.
