Went to my neighborhood Fred Meyers (western super store) to get a few grocery/sundry items. Fought through the holiday shoppers who were consulting others via cell phone and clogging up the aisles. Finally got checked out, returned to my car to find my left rear window was punched out, and my son's $3.00 nylon wallet with no money but his school ID missing. I had to go back and buy clear sheeting material, duct tape, scissors and gloves so I could make the temporary fix in the parking lot in pouring rain. The security guard assured me it was not on his watch - yeah, sure. I am normally a non-violent person but I hope the guy who did this requires serious medical help.

It was dark and pouring down rain, not too many people dawdling in the parking lot (including security guards)
