Quoted today as saying, "The only way to get around in Arizona is by private plane."

Now *who* exactly is out of touch with the average American? I think the McCains win the gold medal.

Ok ... Biden said Obama was not qualified to be President

It would be hard to top that statement .
Cindy is not running for office!

McCain is getting her out of Dodge. He's sending her to Georgia to assess civilian casualties.

Is Barack Hussein Obama sending his DW to Georgia?
It may show he has interest or show he knows what is happening on the world scene.

I am just glad Biden will be on hand to tell him what to do, if or when he is elected.

Seriously I really like Biden.

You may have missed it Deur, but Biden, an actual senator with serious foreign affairs experience and clout, unlike Mrs. McCain, an actual wife, already went to Georgia. Obama doesn't need to send anybody.

If she needs a private plane to get around the state, it makes you wonder what she uses to get around her 5 houses?

I didn't accuse you of saying anything negative about Biden Deur. My point is, Obama doesn't need to send anyone to Georgia. Biden's already been there. Which is quite obviously why McCain is sending Cindy. McCain has run a reactive campaign from the get-go. Obama says or does something, McCain reacts. Every time.

I asked was Obamas wife going?

Deur1, you seem a bit upset and you keep quoting my words - are you asking me if Obama's wife is going?

I believe Michelle Obama is busy at the convention.

As Profe said, Biden went to Georgia and is more qualified than a candidate's wife to deal with that situation.

Deur1, do you think that Michelle Obama should start dealing in foreign affairs and wars and perhaps now jump on a plane and go to Georgia when Cindy McCain returns on Wednesday and do you think this would help Obama if she did so? Do you think this is a job for any candidate's wife?

You asked what I think - here goes-

I think neither of these wives will be on the upcoming ballot. This thread started with the opening post belly aching about Cindy.

Biden,Obama ,McCain and his VP pick will be on the ticket .
I see no need to run down their mates.

Now you know what I think.
Thanks for asking.

DEAR kiara
you ask
deur, do you think that Michelle Obama should start dealing in foreign affairs and wars and perhaps now jump on a plane and go to Georgia when Cindy McCain returns on Wednesday and do you think this would help Obama if she did so? Do you think this is a job for any candidate's wife?

NO, I simply asked if she (Michelle) was going, since some one (I believe it was you perhaps) posted

McCain is getting her out of Dodge. He's sending her to Georgia to assess civilian casualties.

What do I think you asked - here goes-

I do not think Cindy is sent anywhere unless, she wants to go. Neither was she sent out of Dodge. She left from Phoenix.
Cindy volunteers regularly and often travels to war-torn and Third World countries, including trips this summer to Rwanda and Vietnam.

I really appreciate your interest in what I think.
Good Evening

DEAR deur1

My comment about McCain getting his wife out of Dodge was just an off the wall response to the topic when I happened to stop by earlier today.

"Getting out of Dodge" is just an expression.
