I know this post will probably be labled as "trite" by the taste police, but those of us without a clue as to what the piffle is going on in the other threads need something to amuse ourselves with.
I once read a quote that said "men long for imortality that cannot find a single thing to do on a rainy sunday afternoon"

So what are your favorite things to do on a grey and rainy Sunday.
I like to:
Read, read and read some more
Quilt (I have about 4 half finished ones)
Paint (not so much now that I do it for a living)
Get on the phone to old friends I haven't talked to in a while and catch up on the news.
watch old black and white movies ( Bogart,Bacall,Gable, and a good dose of Karloff and Chaney )

tegan - I love to be outside when the weather permits...doing things...going places. When the rainy, gray days are here, I do a lot of the same things you mentioned. I also check out all my favorite catagories on eBay and Yahoo and bid like crazy. I have many loves...so my searching can take up a lot of time.

I check in to the AW RT to see what's happening...say hi to any one who cares and read what others have going on in their lives. I've learned a lot by reading the posts on ebays chat boards, and in the EO here.

Enchanted mentioned survivors. Well, while many here have shared they did not watch/enjoy the Survivors show, or Big Brother....I feel the RT is a lot like Big Brother was. People let us get to know them, little by little and I (for one) do find that interesting. Just like that huge AOL site that was set up for Big Brother. They had a tremendous amount of hits, so people were watching and involved with what was going on in there. We got to 'know' the house guests much the same way we get to 'know' the posters here. Seeing how different people interact with one another, try to figure out why, is interesting to me.
