Mrs. Smith had recently had some medical tests done and was waiting on the results.
As her husband was going to see the doctor himself on the day they were due he said he would pick up the results for her.
When Mr. smith asked the doctor for the results of his wife's tests he was greeted with the disconcerting news that because of a mix up in the lab the test samples had not been correctly labelled and the test results for several Mrs. Smiths had come back as all being for one person and he had no idea what result was the correct one for Mr.Smiths wife.
The doctor explained that the test results showed that Mrs. Smith could either have Alzhiemers or Aids.
When poor Mr. Smith asked what he should do the doctor said, " Drop your wife in the middle of town. If she finds her way back home don't make love to her!"

True story: Elderly gent goes in hospital with cardiac problems. After he's discharged, and gets his bill, his daughter ( a nurse) goes over his long bill. One of his charges was for an OB tray. Apparently, he gave birth while one of his tests was being done!
