I attended one of those high-priced hands on seminars (when my employer paid for it) and they told us that if this happens to your keyboard, you should just disconnect it and try popping off the keys that are sticking to clean them with a Q-tip and alcohol, and if that doesn't work, stick it under running water, then dry thoroughly. After all, if it doesn't work, you still have to get a new keyboard, eh?

This reminds me of a story that happened to me. I worked in a large law firm of over 65 attorneys for nearly 10 years. A few years ago I spilled Pepsi into my keyboard, and thought for sure I had gotten it all cleaned out. But you NEVER get it all, as I discovered. I ended up having to call our "computer person", Diane, but I didn't tell her the whole story. I just said my keys weren't working. So she came down, and picked up my keyboard, and about a half a can of Pepsi ran out of the keyboard and onto her skirt. She looked up at me, and said "Um, Penny, what did you spill in your keyboard?". She was just as calm as could be considering she was dripping wet! Boy, was I BUSTED big time!
