I just need a place to blow off steam for a moment...
I recently upgraded to the new versions of AOL 6.0 and Internet Explorer 5.5 (I had AOL 5.0 and MSIE 4.5) and ever since, all JPG files and graphic files on the internet look terrible, they are fuzzy and distorted. I never had any problems viewing these things before the downloads were done. So when I look at my auctions, they look awful.
Has anyone else had similar problems? I've gotten messages back from AOL with all kinds of suggestions, but none of them helped.
Thanks for hearing (or shall I say reading) my sob story! I'm just so frustrated!!!

Just a suggestion: Always do one upgrade at a time and test it before doing another one. That way if a problem shows up, it's easier to track down the cause.
This is especially true for anything downloaded from the Microsoft Windows Update site. Download one update at a time, install it, then test it before downloading another. If you do more than one update at a time, you WILL have serious problems sooner or later.

Another suggestion: install "Go Back" on your computer. That way, if things go south you can use it to "go back" to a time before things went wrong.
