Hi Tom,
As yet, I haven't received the check, and that's an unusually long time for first class mail. Hope it's not lost somewhere.

(Tom: )I gave a printed copy of the email to my wife and asked her to mail you a check from her shop account. Befoe sending you my enquiry I had asked her if she had mailed the check and she said "Yes". However, after getting your email I just asked her again, and she says that she cannot remember having mailed the check, or not having done so. *sigh* She will check her business check book tomorrow, and phone me from her shop. If she didn't send the check, then I will personally make sure a check gets into the mail tommorrow. If you feel that the slow payment is a problem, I will even send it Priority, if that is important to you.

"If you want it done right, you gotta do it yourself"

Hi Tom,

They're so troublesome, it's a wonder we keep them around sometimes, isn't it?

Mine, on the same issue, cannot remember whether your check arrived or not. We have a series of safeguards learned from incidences such as this, and a check on activity regarding you does not reflect a payment. Most likely that's the case, but there's always the slim chance that my wife may have taken something upon herself to do and forgotten either to do it or that she had decided to circumvent our procedure. I really should fire her, but she's been here so long that I'm afraid that she'd have difficulty in seeking new employment, considering the competitiveness of the market these days. I look forward to moving to a place with a very nice pasture for her.

LOL!!

No, don't go to the added expense of a priority mailing. Your concern is enough
for me.

Ken
