femme, do you read any other newsgroups at all? There is one called alt.recovery.clutter that is very good. The folks that post there are very helpful, many of them deal with vast amounts of clutter and disorganization.

-Cut organizing articles out of magazines and papers; tried them...failure
-Bought organizing books...failure
-Bought lots of containers so that all this stuff had homes. Again, failure.
-Listened to organizing experts on TV, most of whom just didn't click with me.
Oh my gosh femme, sounds like a carbon copy of me!!!!
PS: A little off subjuct here, but did you check out the wordox game at flipside? I responded to your post on the "PC gamers" thread a couple of days ago.
Edited cuz I can never seem to get the bold thing right the first time!(ugh! or the second!)

Simplifying, slimming (body & possessions) & organizing were on my resolutions list....Unfortunately, I keep running into two huge obstacles...1) KIDS! (everything I do, they oh so quickly undo!)....2) Resale Value: I USED to be able to just throw things away or donate them to local groups...NOW I find myself analyzing every item as to it's possible eBay or garage sale value!....AGH!
