Here's a riddle...there IS an answer (and yes, I remember what it is)...and I'll be back now and then to answer your questions and will give you the answer later....
To travel to your destination, you must get directions at a fork in the road on which direction to take. There are 2 tribes that live near the fork. The people from one tribe always answer your questions with lies. The people from the other tribe always answer with the truth. When you come to the fork in the road, there is one person there from one of the tribes. You are only allowed to ask them one question, you don't know which tribe they come from.
Which question do you ask them to find which road to take?

Can't I have 2 questions?
Then you could use your first for something obvious ie "Are you alive?"
Then you know who you're dealing with...
Failing that, I would pluck some berries from a bush, light up a smoke, and wait it out...

I won't make you wait any longer...
the answer, er, the question to ask is:
My Good Man (optional) if you were a member of the opposite tribe, which road would you tell me to take? [Then you take the opposite road they tell you to take].
If he/she's a liar: they would take the honest answer the honest tribal person would answer and they would lie (of course) and tell you the wrong way to go (remember, they always lie)
If he/she's honest: they would tell you the wrong answer the other tribal person would tell you because they would answer truthfully with what a liar would tell you, so you'd have to take the opposite road.
Either way, you get the wrong road as an answer, when you ask that question.
