Is it true or just a rumor? I heard that Bill Clinton has suggested that George Bush should set up a new Cabinet post called the Secretary of Moral Spirituality.
This position calls for a person who has displayed the highest values in their personal and public life and can serve as an outstanding role model to our children and young people. Of course this person should already have a title such as "Reverend" or as near as they can get to it.
Bill has put forth a slate of candidates that he has interviewed and found them worthy of this high calling and all have had first-hand experience in enhancing the lives of so many of our citizens.
1. "Rev." Jesse Jackson
2. "Rev." Al Sharpton
3. "Rev." Jim (or Tammy) Baker
4. "Rev." Jimmy Swaggart
Even Bill's hop-head brother Roger has been pardoned by Bill so he might have an outside chance against this tough competion. Bill has offered to serve on the Advisory Committee along with the help of Ted "Chappaquidick" Kennedy, so we know the appointment will be made with the utmost integrity.
There you have it. Who would you vote for from among these fully-qualified candidates? Feel free to write in any other names of outstanding Revs. that you wish,
Remember, there are those among us who might try to steal this election, so no chads or pregnant dimmples.
