"Live life to its fullest". I've heard this term over and over throughout my life, but I never really knew what it meant. What do you think it means?

I think that the saying 'To live life to it's fullest', is just a saying and can mean whatever you want it to.
For me it means, doing the best you can, having a go and trying to enjoy every moment you can. Showing your family/friends that you love them and be willing to accept that love coming back to you.
Enjoy challenges, tackle life head on and take what it offers and then take some more, but always be readdy to give a bit back.

I just wonder, while I'm sitting at my desk at work doing mindless tasks, if I'm really living life to its fullest.

Well, I realized how sad my life has become, when I became giddy with joy over finding a vintage piece of Tupperware at the thrift shop today.

Boy, I agree with Fez. We went antiquing today and found two new mortars and pestles. On a dreary Ohio day, it doesn't take much to brighten the day! Meya, at least we didn't sit home on our butts doing nothing, right? We were out living life to its fullest!

Well, the pleasure will really begin when the auction gets bids. I actually found two different Tupperware pieces and not much else. Oh well, the thrift shops were mobbed today too. I need to stick with my usual plan of going on weekday mornings. Hubby went with me today..."do you really think you can sell that?" shhhhhhhhhhhhh!

Living life to the fullest is an attitude not an event.
It's how MUCH we enjoy finding vintage doodads in the thrift store or whatever else floats your boat that matters
I live life to the fullest every time I eat chocolate chip cookies, talk to my kid, hug someone, phone home, log onto my favorite chatboard, hold my mom's hand, make a big sale... well I could go on ...

It's whatever I happen to be doing. When I took a ride on the Big Shot on top of the Stratosphere in Vegas, that was living.
When I sit in front of the fire with the cat snoozing in my lap, thats fine too. I just try to get the most enjoyment out of everything.

Meya, I just wanted to drop down and say, do you know how many millions of people cannot appreciate the beauty of vintage tupperware???? The definition to me of living life to the fullest is to find joy in old plastic bowls!

I have to agree with Barry (sensitive guy) Barris. Living life to its fullest is doing the things you enjoy and find pleasure in. For me, that can be a ride along the coast on my bike, picking up my ferrets and giving them the biggest hug I can without squishing them (that would be bad if they got squashed), or even (novel idea) doing my job right. As long as I am happy I think I am living life to its fullest.
