Can anyone here tell me what "veritas lux" means and what language it is???

It's Latin. A quick search turned up "Truth is Light"

Thanks!.....Unfortunately the rest of the words don't translate. I'm going to have to post a pic tomm or Monday for a "whatzit"......I'm clueless on this piece.
