I just have to know if everyone is seeing holidays being pushed at you months and months ahead of time.
Our local Rite Aid store had Christmas, Thanksgiving and Halloween stuff out in force in August. Not just out for purchase, but in the prime locations in the store. Featured. Would you buy a bag of candy in August and hold on to it to give to Trick or Treaters? In late November they had Valentine's candy out.]
About a week ago, I went to Rite Aid and they have an entire aisle of the store dedicated to Easter. Chocolate bunnies, jelly beans, everything. Now?! It's February. I just went down there today and there's even more Easter candy and stuff.
Do stores in your area do this too? I'm in NYC and cannot believe how insane this is getting.

Yup, just like that here too!...Seems like Christmas started it (ie. kept getting earlier & earlier every year) and the rest of the holidays just followed suit.....On Monday, I finally broke down & decided to "treat" myself to a new pair of sweat pants (my eBay work uniform)....HA!...Had the hardest time finding a pair in the stores....sure, I could have had shorts or tee shirts of even bathing suits galore, but little or no sweats...Foolish me, I should have known better, after all it's the middle of February!...LOL....On the bright side, I did find some super, inexpensive sandles for the boys...something I can never find when I'm lookin' for them typically in June!....
BTW, seeing the gardening stuff on the store shelves does make me feel good, like I've survived another winter & spring will, indeed, come again!

In San Diego, our seasons kind of run together anyway, so no surprise that the Easter stuff was out in K-Mart already today. I can't decide if it really bugs me or not...I really could use the extra notice!
