I was reading the thread about annoying things and thought I'd start this one to balance it out. 
I could go on all day about things which irritate me, but I'd also like to list some things which make me smile:
- Waking up to a foggy day.
- Being greeted by a little meowing fluffy when I come home at night.
- Seeing a meowing fluffy in the window as I pull into the driveway.
- Being praised for work I've done.
- Hearing my husband call me "Chunderbunny" (it's really not a flattering term, but I think it's cute).
- Little Asian babies with topknots in their hair.
How about you?

The grin on my husbands face when I tell him how much he means to me.

The tenderness in a mothers eyes
A bouquet of flowers
A warm embrace after a walk on a cold day.
The smell of fresh baked bread
The voice of a friend on the phone
The laughter of a good group of friends getting together.
A stiff wind for sailing
You know what there are so many things that make me smile my face hurts and I love it!!

Floating on a raft in the pool on a hot summer day.
Listening to my son's daily school adventures (okay, sometimes I smile & sometimes I cringe.)
Three-day weekends when we don't have to get up early.

Yeah, isn't she? She's a Yorkie, and was maybe 12 weeks old when I took that. That boot is a 5 1/2... See her taking a little chomp on it? I love dogs...

NOT listed in particular order:
1. I like smiles on people's faces. Especially kids, and the elderly.
2. Standing at the top of a tough ski run, being absolutely scared spitless, and knowing the fun (and possibly pain) I'm going to have on the trip down.
3. The moment the waiter/waitress brings out the dessert tray at my favorite Italian eatery.
4. The smile on my wife's face after...

Those heart stickers look familiar...did somebody get Rugrat Valentines? I have similar little heart stickers all over my house...my desk...my kitchen...my toilet...
What makes me smile? Hmmm. I'm cranky by nature, but....
Seeing Maddie get a haircut with the works at the beauty shop today made me grin. (Blow dried, curling iron, and even a shot of hairspray - she thought she was so grown up!)
That my dinky town bank is finally online!!!!!
Seeing my kids play together. Nicely.
Tax REFUNDS!

1. Puppy kisses.
2. The smell of a baby's skin.
3. When my "growing up and not needing mommy so much anymore" boys come and give me an unsolicited hug or cuddle.
4. So many of those yummy pictures up there! (thanks)
5. Watching the rain.
6. Good sex.
7. Watching my kids play Baseball.
8. When doing something very ordinary like walking the dogs or sitting at the dinner table, Mark reaches out for my hand and gives it that little "I love you so much" squeeze.
9. Hearing my Mom's voice.
10. Knowing that I "fixed" my relationship with my dad and shared 10 Great years as friends.
11. Being aware of how lucky I am!!!!!

Not much right now, but at least these always will:
1) My children and grandchildren sleeping together in my king sized bed with popcorn everywhere after watching a movie.
2) My very pregnant dog waddling around with the look of "Where's my feet" on her face.
3) 2 songs by Rich Mullins: "My Deliverer" and "Hard to Get".
4) Watching my wife try for the 1000th time to repaint the kitchen cabinets (her little project, while I "roost" in the attic)
5) The kid that was ice skating down our sidewalk yesterday since the road crews don't feel it necessary to salt them.
^6) Lastly, when any of my children say "I LOVE YOU DADDY!"

When I find out that my 11 year old son did something kind for someone, and he never told me.
Waking up to a snow-covered morning.
Examining someone and finding out their injuries aren't as bad as originally thought.
Old people in love.
Rescued animals being adopted into loving homes.
Ice skating.
Knowing that Arlo Guthrie, Jimmy Buffett, and Metallica all still tour.(Weird combo, I know...)
Remembering what my Dad taught me.
When my Mom calls me. Everyday.
When my son sneaks up behind me and hugs me, and doesn't ask for money.
New underwear.
Online friends.
Having an auction end for 3X what I expected to get.
Sniping an auction for half of what it's worth.
Knowing there is someone out there, full of regret, for letting me go.
When the Dallas Stars win.
Finding a thread that makes me stop and think, for the rest of the day, what makes me smile! (There's so much more...I'll enjoy the day trying to think of them all!)

My youngest cat waiting for me to go dig out the pieces of food she threw in the water bowl so she can have a mushy feast(every morning).........
Just about EVERYTHING my cats do makes me smile---even just looking at them......
My significant other(even though he forgets valentines day and anniversaries)........
Life in general.........
I thank God everyday!
