I am married to a wonderful man. And I have some incredible friends. What a day!
I was "kidnapped" by my fellow Girl Scout leaders, blindfolded, taken to an unknown vehicle and driven to parts unknown. After about an hour of the most hilarious car ride I have ever had I finally arrived at my destination ....
a party with my family and friends! It was wonderful to be treated so well ... especially knowing how hard he worked to put it all together.
Then I got his present. DIAMONDS! OK, it is just a wrap for my engagement ring but I am lovin' it! Whoo Whoo! I can deal with being 40!
On the way back from the party I had time for a nice long talk about our feelings for each other - it was wonderful.
Thank you all for your wonderful wishes. I gotta go now - seems I have and AWFUL hangover!

Next to the giver....they are "A Girls' Best Friend!! So I guess the giver (HIM) is a keeper, hug?? Did you renew his option??

What a terrific birthday you had. I think the hang over is worth it. Hope you have many, many, more that make you just as happy.

Happy Birthday! Are they swiss-cut or pear-shaped? (don't matter--those rocks won't those their shape & diamonds are a girl's best friend )
