Can anyone translate this, please? It's written on a piggy bank, if that helps. Thanks in advance!

Den jyske Sparekasse

Well, I tried BabelFish...doesn't make much sense, but here it is:

"The jyske saving checkout"

LOL! Could it be an advertising bank?

I'm not so sure it's German. Kasse in German means cash, cash box. It could be Dutch or Danish...jyske just doesn't ring true as German. Since it's a piggy bank, my guess is "for your spare change" or "in your (spare change)box."

Unfortunately, BabelFish doesn't do either one of those...

Thats not German, it's Danish. "jyske Sparekasse" is the name of a bank. Sparekasse means bank in German.

"Sparkasse" is the name of a bank in Germany.

I agree, it's probably an advertising thingy.

Here is the one I use. It is set up to translate 4 or 5 languages, sure came in handy to copy & past an email I got all in German, then reply to her (in German) "

I only read/speak English, I had to have a translator do this for me. Please email in English, thanks."

She did.

I beleive it translates to:

"You want me to do WHAT with that trout?"

but I'm not positive
