"Low Social Motivation (LSM) means that you go your own way, rather than placing a great deal of importance on the opinions of other people. You tend to seek out bargain items, because you are more concerned about value and practicality than status. Other people may think of you as someone who knows the latest findings from consumer reports. You are driven more by your own internal feelings than by exterior motivations. 'To Thine Own Self Be True,' was written to describe people just like you".

High Sensation Seeking (HSS) means that you really enjoy high-energy, thrill-seeking kinds of activities. You seldom follow the crowd. Your idea of a good time is a thrilling emotional experience that challenges you to the max. Because you seek out high-energy experiences, other people probably think of you as a risk-taker. The people in your life may admire you as an avant-guard, leading-edge kind of individual who is likely to be tuned into new trends ahead of the curve. People are drawn to your adventurous spirit.

"Low Sensation Seeking (LSS) means that you don't feel the need for high-energy, thrill-seeking kinds of activities. A simple, pleasant day in the summer is a wonderful experience for you. Because don't have a need to seek out high-energy experiences, other people probably think of you as a natural down-to-earth person. The people in your life most probably find you a dependable friend, both when life is good and when life is difficult. People are drawn to your genuine spirit."

WRONG! My DH would die laughing if he saw this description of my personality. My idea of a good time is sitting on the beach reading a book and listening to the seagulls.

High Social Motivation (HSM) means that you value the place you hold in the opinion of other people and work hard to maintain it. You may tend to seek out luxury items and other signs and symbols of social standing. Other people may think of you as someone with excellent taste, always in the know concerning what is "good, and acceptable, and perfect." Friends may come to you for advice on decorating or clothing styles. Other people who are anxious to "fit in" may seek you out as a special friend. You are about as confident and self-assured a person as is ranked in this quiz.

"Introverted Personality Style (IPS) means that your predominant inclination is to follow your inner thoughts, feelings, and motivations. People who know you may think of you as a person in whom "still waters run deep." While you probably tend to stay away from situations that require you to talk with people you have never met, you can do it when necessary. People who know you may say that you are difficult to get to know, but those who do get close to you discover that you can talk for hours about your rich inner world. "

High Reward Driven (HRD) means that you are a motivated person
who actively seeks to work the hardest. Some people might think
of you as a 'Type A' personality: someone who takes charge of a
situation, someone who is firm in his or her convictions, and
above all someone who is committed to winning. And the
motivating factor here is the reward: whether it’s money, higher
standing, or first place. People who know you probably think of
you as professional, solid, and a high-performance person.
I don't think this fits me but my son, who took the test too, said it fit me perfect...hmmm

Boy, this fits me to a T! Usually my first thought or impression is the one I end up abiding by when it comes to decision-making or ideas. And I am also quiet and difficult for anyone to become close to because it takes me a very long time to let someone into my inner circle. I take a long time to "feel someone out".

well zilvy - I came out as a "High Sensation Seeking" person. Don't think this test work for me. I love to watch people like that, but I am not one.

Mine came out the same as Hepburn's, it seems that my colour reveals a Low Social Motivation. This could be fairly true for me.
