I just finished going through all the pages. Make sure and read all the comments. I was laughing out loud, but I am a tad hung over from that Nite Time cold pill I took last night.
Check out the link at the bottom of that first page. The link says Back to the Main Site Menu. There are other pages too.

I had to show my husband a few of the pictures and descriptions before I earmarked the site.
We have a friend who is a decorator. He redoes his entire house every year or so - and he probably has to because some of the ideas are just not practical though they look great initially. In one bathroom he attached seashells and sand around the baseboards. Duh! How do you clean the floor? Do you dust the sand?

After looking around this site a bit, I found my way to the Main page. There is some great stuff on this site, lots of old ads etc. What a hoot!

Hi Muriel,
That's because you're such a groovy chick!
While growing up, I bet you probally had a younger sister named Jan (with an inferiority complex) who always got mad and screamed "But Mom, it's always Muriel, Muriel, Muriel!" right before she stormed out of the room.

Gawd. That is absolutely amazing stuff. Haven't laughed so hard in a long time. We did actually have a house with orange living room/family room/kitchen walls--just about that color, too. And orange multi-colored shag rugs. And the Mondrian prints. And. .. and. . . And then we inherited a cabin in the mountains (quick, what do you think of? Wrong!) with pink, orange, and yellow shiny wallpaper in the bathroom and pink, purple and orange wall paper on the kitchen *ceiling between the bright green beams*. (Does it go without saying that the wallpaper prints were all of tiny flowers?) It has taken us five years to get all that crap out, and all the purple that this auntie just loved.
Maybe we won't be repeating the 70s???? Please?? ~Adele
