Remember "HairCutGate," when President Clinton got his hair cut on Air
Force One at LAX and the right-wing media went crazy? Get ready for
"LoneStarGate". Why is the crew of Air Force One carrying Bush's beer? Is Bush's Air Force One just a flying
frat party, carrying on like he and his buddies did at Kappa Delta
Epsilon? More importantly, has the alcoholic commander-in-thief gone back to
the bottle?

Good catch, Chum!

Any alcohol treatment worker knows that it shows in the rosy tint across cheek and nose, regardless the denials of the drunkard.

My question is,

Why is there a telephone on the runway?

Well it could be a sign of Roscea too

Yeah Shelly,

Roscea is as common in drunks as thyroid problems in fat people.

WC Fields had the reputation of being a drunk -he would play drunk- but in a biography on him he would invite people into his dressing room or whatever during his vaudeville days. He would use alcohol to get them to come and to stay. He wouldn't drink himself.

He also allegedly had Roscea.

So was Fields a drinker or what?

BTW was it beer in the box?

How many times have we used boxes that had labels for liquor, beer, rat poison etc for moving, shipping and whatever else? Beer boxes in particular are great boxes to use for storage and so on.

Just because a pizza box is delivered with cheese hanging and little critters on the side doesn't mean it is pizza.....

I rarely drink and my doctor told me the tiny, tiny red lines (which make the cheeks and nose appear rosy) are broken capilaries (sp?), a hereditary condition. Nothing to do with drinking.

By the way, good to see you posting here again NearTheSea

"bobbysoxer-I read the biography on W.C. Fields, interesting isn't it"

yes it was -it changed my opinion on his alleged "drunkeness" as well as other myths about him.

Huh? WC FIelds was a teetotler? I recall seeing a flim biography about him titled, "WC FIELDS and Me" and in it, he got quite drunk and peed out the window down on top of a mariachi band. Of course, one could always argue that one does not need to be drunk to pull such a dnagerous prank, but alchohol would be a likely culprit.

HAHAHA! That's right. Bush is bringing austerity to the White House. And he's thinks that the money he saves on storage boxes is gonna help save money for his "tax cut". hahahahaha! I needed a good laugh today.

KRS your comment"Roscea is as common in drunks as thyroid problems in fat people." is rude and ignorant. I have hypothyroid and I am not fat. You need to educate yourself before you rattle on.

I'm not sure how it was rude. He was making the point that drunks might use the excuse of Roscea for their flushed faces as often as overweight people blame thyroid function for their excess poundage. How is that rude, to you in particular?

"I have hypothyroid and I am not fat"

Big deal. the comment doesn't apply to you then. Go lecture your kids or something.
