As a long time follower of Netscape I am now forced to use MSIE temporarily due to a system problem with Netscape.
I have read the various Netscape vs MSIE threads that occasionally appeared and didn't find anything worth bothering to make the switch.
Now that I am temporarily forced to MSIE, I am making a concerted effort to make this my new browser and experience all that I've heard of it.

My first concern: Netscape allowed me as many 'profiles' as I desired to allow each person their own email access, bookmarks, preferences, etc.
How do I get MSIE to do this simple task?
I can only set 1 profile as far as I can tell.
Do I have to run a seperate copy of MSIE for each person? Would it even let me?
Thanks in advance for any help.

Go into the File / Identity / Add Identity menu, you might have to have a separate email account for each, I'm not sure because I do have a separate email account for my two personalities

Hello powerhouse. IE really does have some interesting features that you won't find in Netscape and once you get used to it you might actually prefer it over Netscape.

IE security is very important and the settings are a lot different than Netscape. You don't want to be browsing around with everything hanging out. LOL The following links are a good source to determine IE's most secure settings: http://www.pcnineoneone.com/howto/secbrow1.html
http://www.nwnetworks.com/iesc.html

Here's a good tutorial for learning how to use IE: http://www.eiu.edu/~mediasrv/ie/menu.html

If you're using Outlook Express for your email program these next two links are a must:

BTW, the link VeryModern posted is also excellent.

Does anyone know how to import bookmarks from Netscape?
I have had IE loaded for a year or more and apparently it is an auto process but what imported is OLD...
I have tried to use the "import wizard" without luck and I think what I need to know is the name of the file they are stored in so that I can manually direct the wizard to the current file.

Thanks!
