No, sorry it's not about impeaching Bush, though I wish we would get started on that! In a storage locker that I bought was a box that contained letters and flyers written by hippy's living in communes and fighting for freedom. Really interesting stuff.
Editor, Morning Mail Courier Express Buffalo, N. Y. - Sir: Regarding Mr. Nixon's impeachment the main problem seems to be to find something he isn't guilty of. However like Lt. Calley and the Kent State National Guardsmen he is only a representative of the large corporations.
The strategy for getting cheap, selling dear, and rigging everything is the corporations' own, tactics are left to such representatives. Of course the corporations tend to prefer underlings who don't drag the dead mouse home.
Corporations have never been controlled anywhere they existed. They control, with ample carrots, and a mighty clout as politicians know. President Franklin Roosevelt escaped the clout but he had not touched corporation basics. President Allende did, and he did not escape, though Chile will free itself from corporation rule.
Nixon of course must be impeached, out of national self-respect. But there'll be no rollback, and the line will not be held. And the oil and heating gas companies will take their 27 1/2% tax write off as usual, without developing American energy sources which is what the writeoff is for.
And the huge industrial and banking corporations who own big farming will still sell high to U.S. Government storehouses and still hold out their hand for welfare-the only realwelfare-for not working the land.
When these folk have cleaned us out again our young can shoulder arms. We'll need more war, for profit, debt, ruin, and to keep the wheels rolling a little longer - unless most of us do some basic thinking.
