Hey all you Art Bell fans!
The boyfriend was just on the Art Bell show! He was the one who called in from Las Cruces (his name is John and he said my name, Marie, several times). He was on the West of the Rockies line (on right after the shadow guy).
He talked about the aurora lights (which we got out of bed and drove for 20 minutes to find a dark spot to watch).

Why, thank you!
Actually, he is quite pleased with himself. We've been long time listeners and this was the first time we actually got excited enough about something to call. The lights were really cool.
I know there are other listeners out there, was wondering if any of them heard him.

Well I didn't hear him, because I am probably just a bit too far away to catch that particular programe. I am in Australia. But I am very happy for you both.

nettak: Well, don't be so sure! They had a guy call in from Australia a few minutes before the boyfriend got on.
I think he got his feed from the Art Bell website.

Hey Lotsa,
Neat!
I don't follow Art, but I predict that your fame is just beginning with this national exposure. Remember all of us little people who helped you develop your material.

Antiquary: Yes, lotsafuzz should soon become a household name.
Actually, although this started the boyfriends fame clock ticking, I've had a lot of 'press'. Have been published in the local paper, had my picture on a state paper (when I was 5....I was a cute little thing), been on the state, local, and national news, been on the local and state radio, and got my mug on the local and state news programs a time or two.
By my count I've got about 25 seconds left on my 15 mintues.

Aw hell, you've only just begun, Marie.
See, you even used a , which shows your versatility and adaptability.
BTW, what were you planning for the focus of your grad degree? Yesterday's thread zapping disoriented me a bit.
I completed my MA coursework over 3 summers, wife and I both moved to campus over the summers, and then the last I stayed home and completed my thesis. I enjoyed the graduate course work much more than the undergraduate; of course, part of the reason could be that the undergraduate was during the foggy mid-sixties.
