Remember, on IE, every time you place a letter on eBay's search, all the words starting with that letter from past searches appear?

The same thing happens on the browser's HTTP Address window:

How do I clear/reset this?

I've tried it by clearing my cache, deleting the history files and clearing the contents of the Documents menu, but they just won't go away.

Any suggestions?

thanks!

Mine always go away when I go under Tools --> Internet Options and hit the "Clear History" button. It sounds like you've already done that, though. If you haven't, try it.

Yes, I did that. Some were cleared, some weren't.

Weird.

I'm sure you've tried this, same place Tools;
Internet Options; Temporary Internet Files; Delete Files

That should clear the Address/Url bar?

in IE 5.0 go to: tools>internet options on this screen goto the content tab. Click the auto complete button. Click the Clear Forms button.

This will clear all of the auto complete fields. For example, in eBay if you start typing in the search field and it drops down a list of previous searches, these will be cleared.
