I have been on this doggone diet too long. It is time to enjoy something good.
I was think about a steak off the grill, side of corn and a Zima with just a twist of lime. Of course, since I am holding this party, I will be making ice cream sundaes later for everyone.
Now, the house is clean, I just lit my new Home Interior Mulberry candle, and I am waiting for everyone to show up ....

Oh, MrsSantaClaus, that sounds lovely! May I join you? I'll bring some salmon to throw on the grill, too, and a big Greek salad and some brownies.

We finished up dinner. Just waiting to have strawberry shortcake later when we are not so full. I finally made shortcake yesterday as good as my Aunt's. It took a few years to get it right. I finally added ginger ale to the dough and it got as light and fluffy as hers.

Ahh .... the salmon was absolutely wonderful! And the corn ... yummmmmm .... I hope you enjoyed the steak.
Now, I guess we could choose to snitch some strawberry shortcake off of Gravid, but I am thinking maybe a hot fudge sundae with butter pecan ice cream and a cherry on top (not forgetting the whipped cream, of course)

I'll bring some sweets:
Fresh, piping hot, homemade crepes, with fresh picked strawberries, blueberries and rasberries: melted SWISS choclate, and crushed walnuts, pecans and cashews (with REAL whip cream) to top them off. If that's too sweet for some folks, how 'bout my wife's "poor man's choclate cake", sweet enough to tantalize, but not full of sugar at all. I'll even supply fresh, cold cow and goat's milk for those of us who no longer consume alcholic bevrages.
