So What else is new! Check your account. I have had two sales (a first in a while) since this afternoon and not one e-mail to let me know. And to think I pay a commission to these people......

It breaks my heart when I look at the commission percentage I pay Half! For non-books, videos, games, and music, it's 15% of the item price PLUS shipping.  It's not even that high when someone pays for an eBay auction with PayPal or BillPoint!

I've had 4 sales since yesterday afternoon - has taken at least 30 mins if not longer for the email to get to me - I've had the items processed, shipped and relisted before the email arrived.
half.com is great for my $1.00 and less items - cheaper than Ebay and they're MOVING...

If anyone doesn't like the sometimes slow emails or 15% commission then simply don't use the site. With 50 million items listed I'd say someone must like the site, warts and all.

Amazon Marketplace fees are even higher than Half's 15% after they tack on a 99 cent automatic fee.
Amazon Marketplace charges 15% of item price plus 99 cents for each item sold. Luckily there isn't much competition on Amazon so you can sometimes jack-up prices to account for the hefty fee.
Half is becoming even more intrigueing now that you can sell almost anything on Half. I guess you have to jack-up your prices and live with the fees.

For low end $ - 15% is still a bargain compared to 30 cents just to list it on Ebay auction format...
I'm not making a fortune per item, but I am making $ per item and getting great volume this month.

I think Half. just randomly looses people from time to time. It is not uncommon to not get any emails for days. Then they just start up like nothing was even wrong. Who knows where the lost emails went. You go online here and ask & others are getting their emails fine. You may not be getting any today, but we are receiving just fine. As far as I can tell there is no logic to it. It would make more sense if the whole system went down.

Why not just use www.playerauctions.com? No one there but game people and its cheaper than ebay or half.

Gobbled up? eBay bought them in July of 2000 and have announced plans to include them in the main site many months ago.
