I read a post not long ago asking AW if LowestBids paid their advertising bills. I never saw a reply or an answer. I would like that confirmed or denied. Did I miss the answer? Does anyone know the answer? Thanks.

Mark indicated in a post to Pocono, that LowestBids does not owe anything.

Hoops1...if I recall correctly, Mark did answer that question on the thread that was started however, it did seem to disappear. I am sure that you can email Mark or go to the moderators forum and get the answers to your questions....I did and find they were very accomodating...

Hya Pocono!

Hope all is well with you.
Haven't chatted with you in a while, missed ya!

Hoops:
I do not recall the thread stating anything about: "way overdue bill was "finally" paid" as was suggested. But that thread has sinced been removed. No matter what "we" as AW users think, you will ultimately have to decide for yourself, about all the auction sites. There are a great many nice auction sites available with pros and cons for each of them.

I'd be interested in anything you have to share about sites you have tried and their pros and cons.

Happy day to All!

Wendy

Pocono,

People may not like you because you play the devil's advocate but I truly like you. If you were a lawyer I would hire you. All of your thoughts on LowestBids from the very beginning are absolutely true. I wish everyone knew the things that I have learned from my friend who worked there.

I caution anyone who is thinking about using their site, proceed with extreme caution. Caution like a truck driver with sleep apnia, sneezing fits, bad brakes, 100 tons of volatile explosives in his or her truck going over a pothole ridden, 100 mile winding road high above a 2000 foot drop. Does that paint a picture for you?

I see that people are trying to spread bad rumors about this site. Nobody is forcing you to use lowestbids, just like nobody is forcing people to use bidbay. But you don't have the right to tell false facts about them.

lol "false facts"

if they are "false", they cannot be "facts"
if they are "facts", they cannot be "false"

oxymoron...

Everything I have said about lowestbids is 100% absolutely the TRUTH!

I did make one minor mistake in which I continued to say that their grossly overdue advertising bill still remained unpaid here at AW, and Mark verified a day ago that the deadbeat company "finally" paid their severly overdue advertising bill. FINALLY!

Anyone that's been here for the past 3 years knows when I take up a cause, it's with good reason.

BTW... you are a newbie here, and have posted 3 posts so far, and all are lowestbid related?

hmmm...

this gets stranger every day!

Thanks AD, glad you find value in my posts!

Pocono, I have no affiliation with lowestbids if that's what you're trying to say. I'm not pro or con-lowestbids. Where the problem lies is with people (like yourself) who go on a tirade on a site (or a cause, for that matter) yet are not able (unwilling) to back up their claims. I've read some of the threads on bidbay, and while it seems that the same kind of thing goes on there, the people that appear to be anti-bidbay back up their claims with evidence. Yet people that go out of their way to be anti-lowestbids tend to not back up their claims. Could it be a smear campaign? Or are these people really telling the truth but don't wish to reveal their facts?

As a good friend of mine says, I think you sir (Pocono) are looking for boogers.

Hi Pocono!

Sincerely, is this comment below, aimed at me?
___________________________________________
"They have "planted" a successful defense seed here now, that I DO beleive is employed by LB, and they have relentlessly defended the company. That is being looked into."
__________________________________________

I sure hope not........I have stated over and over again...............I AM NOT AN EMPLOYEE OF LOWEST BIDS. I DO NOT GET PAID BY ANY AUCTION SITE TO STATE WHAT I BELIEVE.
____________________________________________

I responded to an earlier post of yours, that I believe you were just trying sincerely to help me. Hope I was right. Maybe your future posts should be directly aimed at the person you are accusing....so as not to mislead those reading these posts on AW.

Afterdark: I can only speak for myself.....I have nothing against Pocono or any other person who posts to these boards.

Thanks,

Wendy

I have posted my proof over, and over, and over and over again!

It gets a bit tiresome doing so for every newbie that comes along, which in the LB case is several a day, EVERY day.

I explain, they get NARU'd for being a fraud, and I get to explain again to the next bunch.

It get's quite boring, and as I said, the people here who have been here for more then a day know me, and know that when I say something like my statements about this scamming/fraudulant/unprofessional kiddie site known as lowestbids, that it is true.

I need not explain to every newbie that comes down the pike.

Since you seem to be so "knowledgeable' about the whole LB situation, and just registered today, i have my own thoughts...

I just hope that I can keep as many people as possible from falling victim to the maniacle ceo of that site.

He is in DESPERATE need of professional counseling!

This is just my opinion, and is aimed solely at a COMPANY and it's CEO, and no individual poster here

I'm not very knowledgable about what's gone on here in the past. Just from what is still visible in the forum. But, from that info that I have, it does look like you're looking for boogers, Pocono.

Pocono,
when mark said that it was you and I having the disccusion im not defending lowestbids but if your going to say "FINALLY" this also looks bad on mark because he did not say that. he just stated that the bill was paid. nothing more nothing less. As far as your views I am not trying to take anything away from you pocono I understand where your coming from 100%.

gee, i don't know...

i think that i have been quite effective in outing the near TWO dozen phoney user IDs that the ceo and his cronies have used here, and am very close to having ALL mention of LB banned from AW completely..

that's pretty good, huh?

well worth the efffort.

Why would you want to ban a site from using these boards? Are you (or AW) scared of the competition?

 Wooster91

posted on February 18, 2001 03:16:08 PM new
I don't think its a matter of competition, i think its a matter of controversy
the problem with banning lowestbids and their users, from posting anything about
lowestbids, is the fact that it wouldnt hold up in a court of law very well
and can open up all sorts of law suits to auction watch.

well, ya see, that's where you are wrong...

AW is a PRIVATELY owned site, and need not allow ANY conversation about ANY particular subject, just as they NEED NOT allow ANY poster here that they DON'T WANT.

so you see, your theory holds no water.

Forgot to add; Afraid of competition? ..BWAHAHAHA!!!

slowestbids is no threat to ANY site, auction or otherwise.

it is nothing more then a hobby for a bored, and mentally challenged psycho is all it is.

(no doubt he got some sort of settlement from a chemical company or something, and squandered it on starting that joke of site)

Hello, Hello, Hello to All,

Anyone who wishes may look and look and look............but I am not an employee of LB.....you can say it and think it all you like, but, it will never make it a true statement. I am not a liar Pocono........I know whether or not I am employed by them. And for you to keep insinuating that you'll have someone NARU'd gets old. I hope AW would not kick me off just cuz you think this and that. I have spoken the truth here. And even thanked you for your concern, sincerely too. So why do you continue with this? I'd really like to know.

Remember that song? Why can't we be friends, why can't we be friends........

If we are gonna be friends Pocono, ya need to cooperate just a tad.......LOL
