Geeze, can it get any worse with PayPal? Beginning TODAY (Anyone else hear about this sooner?)the bonuses only go to Premier and business accounts.
In addition, the part about fees is misleading. Billpoint will NOT CHARGE for debit cards, but Paypal charges no matter how the person pays.
This was the announcement:
Beginning Monday, October 9, only Premier and Business Accounts will be eligible to receive the $5 bonus for referring new users to PayPal.
Please upgrade your account to continue enjoying this special promotion. You don't want to miss out on future referral bonuses or referral bonuses you already have pending.
By upgrading, you'll also enjoy unlimited credit card payments. Starting on October 16, Personal Accounts will be limited to receiving $500 in credit card payments every 6 months.
And Premier and Business Accounts get all our premium features, including advanced auction tools that will save you time.
Fees are just 25¢ for credit card payments under $15, and 25¢ + 1.9% on payments over $15. Compare us to the competition: a $35 payment with PayPal costs just 92¢, while Billpoint™ charges $1.40.
