If in fact there _is_ a difference between the shopping carts that PayPal plans to offer in November and the shopping carts that were mentioned in the email sent out very early this morning (1:17AM CST 2000.10.11) that will be provided by BizBlast, you might want to clarify that.
BizBlast's fees start at $30/mo ($25 setup, up to 26 products... plus some included hosting/email options). The have a package for $80/mo ($45 setup, unlimited prodcuts, includes more hosting/email options) or $150/mo ($100 setup, unlimited products, and includes even more hosting/email options). I'm sure you're aware of their fees, Damon, but I give this information for the benefit of others who haven't seen the fees yet.
I gloss over the hosting options because, well - perhaps not to all of us, but I'd guess that many of us with business accounts have little interest in web hosting as we already have established web sites with no intention, desire, or reason to change hosts.
So tell us, are BizBlast's shopping carts and the carts that PayPal plans to offer in November one and the same? If not, is there going to be a fee for PayPal's promised shopping carts (for business/premier accounts)?
And, if not, you might want to clarify it because that email this morning sure SOUNDED like they are one and the same...
Thanks...

If folks need shopping cart services, ccNow's is free. It's well integrated into their system and has been for over a year--maybe even two. As others have noted, the percentage ccNow takes is steep--9% most of the time and 8% in Nov/Dec--but it beats the fees discussed above.
Before PAYPAL came along, I was a very happy customer of ccNow although I didn't use the cart feature. (now that PAYPAL is self-destructing, I'm a very happy customer of BILLPOINT . . . )

Hi online auctions,
My immediate understanding is that shopping carts will be a feature found within business/premier accounts at no additional cost. The expected release date is November and I will have more details available closer to that timeframe (when the item is all, excuse the terminology here...Spec'd out)
