I've only been with AuctionWatch for a few weeks, but I'm very pleased with the service that you provide and appreciate all that you offer. I'm starting to get the hang of your new format (tho I have to admit, that I found your old one a little more user friendly and less confusing.) I have just a couple questions.
When I load the pics I want attached, the pics show up beside the icon...but it still says to check attach or detach. How do I tell when it has actually been attached? Do I check the box to attach and download it again? Second question is if we do have a problem with a listing...for instance the pic did not attach even after several tries and I could tell that because it didn't turn up in the preview mode. If we want to ask you to help us with it (or check into it) how do we refer you to it without any Item #? Or have I missed the reference info. My last question I have is this. After I have loaded a pic onto AuctionWatch, is it still necessary to keep it on my computer? That's it for right now. Thanks alot...Mallary

Hi Candi!
Good to see you are still around!
My suggestions:
* Do away with the stamps! It would be much nicer to just e-mail a spreadsheet or do online entry throughout the month with numbers and DVUs, which would then be automatically deducted from a pre-paid account, with account statements available online. (A reminder that your account is low would be great too!) So say "Pretty PLEASE!" to the PTB, would you?
*This online system would also provide buyers the opportunity to see for themselves that the package IS insured, not having to wait until the following month when stamps are submitted.
*Include an area to report the destination address and an automatic denial if you input a destination country that is not served by u-pic.
*Devise an automatic invoice number for sales that are NOT generated on an auction site.
Fabulous though your product is, this level of service for your customers should shoot you over the moon!
Oops! You will probably need to move your question over to the AuctionWatch Services board to get the answers you need. This board is for Partner Services (those companies signed on to offer complimentary services to AW users), and U-pic is a private insurance provider for packages, rather than using the more expensive USPS insurance.

I was very disappointed to find, after buying your stamp program, that jewelry is excluded from your insurance coverage (never mentioned on the phone beforehand). Perhaps you could reconsider that policy.

Hi Granee,
If you can e-mail me your account name we can add jewelry as a rider to your policy. It does not cost you anymore - we just have to add it specifically to your policy. A rider is only needed if the jewelry is 'fine' jewelry. If you are selling costume jewelry (values under $150) you are covered with the basic policy.
I agree that our policy should specify fine jewelry versus costume etc. and will pass that on to our underwriter.
E-mail me at [email protected] and let me know if you would like to add that to your policy.

Hi Candi !
I have to agree with Joy also. I use the stamp program also. An on-line pre-paid system would be easier for us, and probably easier for u-pic in the long run.

Hi Candi! Didn't even know you guys were over here. Just a small testimonial--I love U-PIC! Since I use the spreadsheet method, I have absolutely no suggestions for improvement, since I think it's darn near perfect as it is!!!

Yes, I agree, do away with the stamps (even though I currently don't have to use them, they seem so cumbersome!). On-line entry would be GREAT! That way, even if an item is mailed at the beginning of the month, it is insured right away, and if it hasn't arrived by the end of the month or is damaged in transit, you wouldn't have the problem of having to submit a claim when you haven't sent in your premium for that month's items yet.
