Hello everybody,

It would be interesting to know how many users need inventory control in SmPro.

I, for one, need it and be willing to pay extra for it as well.

The web-based Sales Manager is not an option for several reasons: it is slow, too many windows/clicks, not enough pix, can't use it while having coffee at my favorite cafe.

Those in favor, please post here, maybe Vendio would realize that this is a priority for those with large numbers of auctions.

I'm really surprised that no one has posted yet. I for one really need a good inventory system and what I'm doing now sucks. Having it in SMPro would be great but I'd also like to have it sych or upload so it will show up online as well.

Just so you know why the current way I do my inventory is so bad, here's a list.

1. First I create my inventory item in SMP and then create the listing in a batch with a future launch date.
2. I then upload the batch.
3. I then go online to the Pending area in SM and cancel all the the future launches.
4. Then I have to click into each one, scroll to the bottom, click on the Save in Inventory box, and click save. This saves it in inventory with all the Ebay site info which is a real pain to enter in inventory because you have to click to a second page. Doing it this way saves everything in inventory but the Avg. Cost.
5. I then delete all the cancelled Pending launches.
6. Now I go to Inventory and all the items I just saved are in the Unfiled folder. I click into each one and if the quantity is more than 1 I have to add the quantity and the cost. I scroll to the bottom and save.
7. I then re-launch from the inventory item. This allows it to show what's on auction/Ebay Store, what's in my Vendio store, or what's available and I've done nothing.

The one thing I lose is by doing it this way is the ability to have more than 4 photos. Inventory drops everything over 4 and if I want more than that, I have to go to the pending area, cancel the launch (after being sure I launched for future), and add the photos there, then relaunch.

As you can see, it's quite an ordeal but at least I have a way of knowing what's in stock, what's on auction, or what's in my store at any time. Actually, all they have to do is upgrade the inventory so it works with everything else and there wouldn't be an issue.

A couple of things I'd like to see added is the ability to use more photos in inventory and column on the inventory listing page that shows when something in in the Ebay Store vs. on auction.
