I really need to update my computer, but since SMPro doesn't work with Vista and that's all you can get nowdays, how soon do you anticipate it will be before I will be able to upgrade?

Hello,

I do not have a specific eta available right now. However, we are currently testing a new version of Sales Manager Pro. Assuming that the tests are successful, it should be released soon.

Nathan

Hello,

This is now available. Go to the Sales Manager Pro page and download the newly released version, then install it over any existing copies you may have.

One more question. If you are not using Vista, should you still download the upgrade?

Hello,

No reported problems with Vista thus far, and the upgrade should be done by anyone needing Vista support or the new durations for Fixed Price items (30 days, GTC.)

Chris

Hello Roger,

The answer is that the upgrade should be done by anyone needing the new durations for Fixed Price items (30 days, GTC) - even if your not using Vista.

Hello,

To backup your Sales Manager Pro files, please save the following folders:

- From the data folder, the inv.dat file, which contains inventory information.
- From the batches folder, all batch files (*.awb).

Then place these files in the corresponding folders of the new installation.

Regards,
Nathan
