Hi, My wife and I have sold on Ebay Motors for over 4 and 1/2 years now under the current user name that I also use with Vendio. We had decided to branch out into non Ebay motors areas under a second user name. Her mother passed away and she has a lot of items to sell from the estate. We had no problems setting this up with Ebay with the new account and PayPal linking the payments into our primary PayPal business account with the new user name and email address. I can't figure out if there is a way to set SMPro so that we can choose either Oldscrazy or the new Ebay account. We really don't want to set up another Vendio account until we see how it goes. Is there away to do this. I already tried in my account to add the second user name and email address but since it is already checked Ebay/Ebay Motors, it won't let me submit. I keep getting the page back telling me I have to choose an auction site even though Ebay is already checked. Help!

Hello,

At this time, our system is configured to manage only one eBay account per Vendio account. If you have multiple eBay IDs, you would need to register a Vendio account for each eBay ID. If you have two or more Vendio accounts, the easiest way to keep your account information separate is to install a separate copy of SM Pro on your computer for each Vendio account.

The first step is to download the install kit from our site (be sure to select the "save to disk" option.) The same install kit can be used to install all SM Pro copies.

The second step is to install the program into separate locations. The first copy is installed into "C:\Program Files\Vendio" folder by default. You will need to create a unique file folder for each additional copy that is to be installed. You may create these folders wherever you like on your hard drive, but be sure to name the files so that you will be able to easily locate them ("C:\Program Files\Vendio2" is an example.)

Next, run the installer for Sales Manager Pro, when the prompt comes up asking you where to install, select and install to default ("C:\Program Files\Vendio" ).

After this is done, run the installer again, and install it to the alternate folders you have created (such as the example "C:\Program Files\Vendio2".) As you do this, you will need to choose a different name for the Program Group for each installation (for instance, you may choose to use the eBay ID that will be associated with that installation.)

After you have installed the separate copies of SM Pro, you should have a matching Vendio icon on your desktop. You should probably rename them with your eBay ID so that you will be able to differentiate them.

Now you should be able to launch the copy you want via your labeled icons.

NOTE: All copies of SM Pro that you have on your system must be the same version number in order to work correctly.

Please let us know if you have any further questions.

Regards,
Nathan
