Can you tell me why this error code keeps appearing when I try to launch an item? eBay says they don't have any problems currently but their code reference page says that error 17 means template will fail? Does this have anything to do with the new eBay listing page layout? Have never had a problem with using Vendio templates in the past...was just wondering.
Thanks

Is anyone aware of this issue or what can be done to resolve it.
Thanks

Hello,

Usually we would need to see a sample of this item in it's error state to tell you more, but if you knew the rest of the error message I may be able to point you in the right direction.

I checked your account but didn't see any items with an error at this time, but if you could let me know when you do have one, id be more than happy to take a look at it for you.

Regards,
Chris

By trouble shooting on my own, due to a lack of suggestions from Vendio staff, I determined that the problem may have been the gallery picture being different than the 1st picture in the listing. We'll see. In the future, Vendio should suggest checking this to help people avoid a lot of unnecessary hastle. Also, when I went back to check the auction there were a lot of custom details that were put in that were not in my original listing. If someone at Vendio had been troubleshooting they should have been more careful and removed these entries because they had nothing to do with the item or any item I have ever listed.

Hi,

We do need the error message to troubleshoot for you, or at least a working example to use.
The issue wouldn't have had anything to do with the gallery image, so if you get it again don't delete the item from your account so we can take a look and at least try to help you with the error.

Chris

Well it worked. The only change I made was to the gallery and 1st pic in the listing and it launched without an error code 17. However, if you would like to troubleshoot this issue you can try launching the only item with a complete title in my pending section. This is a duplicate copy of the auction before the gallery image was changed so it should behave in the same manner and generate the needed code info for you to troubleshoot. Realize, although, that this auction did get listed to eBay though so it should not be actually launched. Hope this helps.
Thanks

Hello,

Unfortunately that wasn't it. That item in pending would be accepted the way it is currently if you were to submit it to eBay right now.

If you come across it again please let us know. If I see someone with an error 17 and catch the message that goes along with it, ill post back with some info on how to avoid it in the future.

Regards,
Chris
